When you create an account, we collect:

  • Login credentials (password is encrypted and stored securely)

Membership Data

Payment Information

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not directly store your credit card numbers. Stripe collects:

  • Credit/debit card details (processed securely by Stripe)
  • Billing address
  • Transaction history and payment status

Payment Processing (Stripe)

Your payment information is sent directly to Stripe per their Privacy Policy. Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant.

Authentication (Supabase)

Your login credentials are securely managed through Supabase infrastructure.

Email Services

We use email providers to send notifications solely on our behalf.

4. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, the CCPA provides you with specific rights:

You have the right to request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.

Right to Opt-Out of Sale

We do not sell your personal information. Amanah Logic does not sell, rent, or trade your data.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights.

5. Data Retention

  • Account Data: Retained while active. Deleted within 90 days of closure.
  • Membership Data: Retained while active and for a reasonable period afterward.
  • Payment Records: Retained as required by law.

8. SMS Communications

By providing your mobile number when enrolling in a membership program (online at amanahlogic.com/join or in person on a paper enrollment form), you consent to receive SMS messages from the organization operating your membership program (e.g. Masjid Muhajireen, operated by Islamic Association of Immigrants) regarding your account, including payment receipts, payment failure alerts, eligibility updates, and two-way support replies.

No sharing of mobile information

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your mobile number or text-message content with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is only shared with subprocessors strictly required to deliver SMS on our behalf (e.g. Twilio, our messaging carrier), and only for the purpose of fulfilling your account-related communications.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your account activity (e.g. payment events, eligibility milestones, replies you initiate). Most members receive only a handful of messages per month.

Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply. Charges are determined by your wireless carrier; we do not control or set them. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Opting out

You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP (or UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT) to any message. You will receive a one-time confirmation acknowledging your opt-out, after which no further messages will be sent. To re-subscribe later, reply START or contact us directly.

For help with SMS messages, reply HELP to any message, email privacy@amanahlogic.com, or contact your membership organization directly.

9. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date and notify you of material changes via email or through the Service.
